Thanks for coming to learn more about us! I hope the following sections allow me to introduce myself to you well. Feel free to be in touch via email or social media.
It is my privilege to be married for 27 years to Theresa and we have seven children (#thesuperbseven) who range from 16-35 with six daughters, one son, one son-in-law, one fiance, and more! We have children by both birth and adoption. My wife and I were born in Kentucky. After marriage our first job took us to Minnesota for a few years. We have lived in Arkansas since 1995 and in Fort Smith since 2002.
I graduated from Henry Clay High School in Lexington and proceeded to Berea College in Berea, KY where I earned a B.A. in Music with a focus on voice and choral conducting. While at Berea, Theresa and I met and we were married a couple of years later. We served together in churches in three states for thirty years leading music, youth ministries, creative arts, worship, and serving as a senior pastor. In 2005 I completed my Masters in Theology and then in April, 2015 I completed my Doctorate in Theology. In October, 2017 we began to focus on full-time facilitation, speaking, and writing.
The bottom line for me professionally is that I am a facilitator and speaker. I love motivating and inspiring people and teams!
Our Consulting Work
To serve organizations in our region, Theresa and I own McClure Professional Services. We use a variety of activities and challenges to enhance teamwork, communication and dynamics for existing and new teams. Through this I also do public speaking for a variety of groups and venues. See more about my speaking HERE.
We have been building leaders and teams for our entire career spanning three decades. For the past dozen years we have operated McClure Professional Services conducting active events and retreats to build teams and leading trainings and workshops to develop leaders and improve communication in existing teams.
